The Ashtabula Telegraph says: "This fine schooner stands in the front ranks of the sail vessels on the lakes, not only in beauty of model and rig, but also as to tonnage. Her measurement is 288 tons, and she will carry 330. Length 112 * 25'8" * 9'10"; draught when loaded 9 ft. She is sparred heavily, her lower mast 40 ft., booms in proportion. She will be ready for sea in a few days, as Messrs. Harmon & Pratt are pressing her equipment with the utmost despatch. Capt. S. Pratt takes her to Chicago for her first trip.
