NEW STEAMER- The JOHN OWEN towed down the new steamer ARROW, built at Trenton by Mr. Butts, and owned by Messrs. Edmunds, Davis and Capt. S.F. Atwood. The ARROW is 363 tons burthen, of a model similar to the North River boats. She is staunch built, will be a swift runner and altogether a rara avis among lake craft. She will now proceed to take in a low pressure, beam engine at the Cuyahoga Works, and make ready to take her station upon the lakes. - Cleveland Herald.

THE ARROW - This is the name of a new boat, built the past winter by Messrs. Atwood, Davis and Edwards, and intended to run in connection with Messrs. Doyle & Dickey's packets, from this place to Detroit.
The ARROW is 363 tons, and was built for a fast boat, somewhat after the model of the North River boats, and will be provided with a powerful low pressure engine. It is expected she will take passengers here after breakfast and land them in Detroit before dinner, leave Detroit immediately after dinner and be in Toledo before tea-time. She will be out the 15th.
