VESSELS AT HURON. - Capt. Gardner informs us that a fine schooner of 324 tons, named the EVELINE BATES, was launched at Huron on Saturday, from the yard of S.L. Wilson. She is owned by the Bates' Estate, and will be commanded by Capt. Jno. Peterson. A small steamer is being built by J.M. Keating, at the same place, for B.F. Smith, to run in the Sandusky and Fremont trade. She is 108 feet keel, 18 feet beam, 7 feet hold, and will register about 130 tons. Mr. W.H. Cherry is building a small vessel of 40 tons, at the same place. - Toledo Blade.
