The schr. BELLE CITY , Capt Morgan, on her recent passage from Buffalo to this port was boarded by a posse of officers sent out from Port Colborne, while she lay partially becalmed off that port, on suspiciom of being an armed Fenian piratical craft. They were politely informed by Capt. M. that if Fenians were on board his vessel, they would be found in the hold stowed in barrels, shipped as freight. After an examination, they were found to contain a very superior article of salt, when to their chagrin they returned to the shore to report accordingly.
