The Maritime History of the Great Lakes
Waters M. Braman (Tug), 6 Jun 1867

Description
Full Text

A tug, never before in these waters made her appearance here on Sunday morning, direct from New York. She was built in Boston, Mass., in 1858, since which tome she has been somewhat remodeled, and from present appearances, we should judge, lays no claim to beauty of model. Her name is WATERS M. BRAMAN, is of medium size, but possesed of great power, and has been brought here for the purpose of towing on the river. During the war she was for a time employed in various ways by the Government.
