LAUNCH.---Capt . Gage's new steamboat "the BRIDE" was launched at Detroit on the 26th. ult. The Advertiser says she is a first class boat of nearly 800 tons burthen, her length is 210 feet; depth of hold 12 feet; breadth of beam 29 feet she is to be fitted up with all convenient speed.

LAUNCH:-- Capt. Gager's new boat, the BRIDE, was yesterday launched from the dock at the lower end of the City. She passed into the water sidewise without difficulty, and presented a very fine appearance. She is a first class boat of nearly 800 tons burthen. Her length is 2I0 feet; Depth of hold, I2 feet; Breadth of beam, 29 feet -- We understand that she is to be fitted up with all convenient speed.- - - Det. Adv. 29th.

NOTE: the above boat was not named BRIDE when put in commission, but ALBANY.
