Capt, Frank Perew is having a floating elevator built at the shipyard of Messrs. Robert Mills & Co. It is being constructed on the hull of the old schooner BRIDGEWATER, and is intended to have the largest transfer capacity of any elevator at this port. The estimated cost is $15,000.
