A new fore-and-aft schooner built by Messrs Bidwell & Banta for Messrs Buckley & Co., of this place and called the E.K. BRUCE is nearly ready to take her departure for the west. She is of about 240 tons burthen. Her dimensions are as follows: - Length of keel 110 feet---length on deck 119 feet; breadth of beam 25 feet 10 inches; depth of hold 9 feet 2 inches. She is called after Mr. Bruce of the firm Fox & Bruce and will favorably compare with her competiters.
