A brig is now building by our fellow citizen, Mr. O. Newbury, at Huron River [Ohio], which will be the largest sail vessel on the lakes. She will measure about 150 tons, [Ed. This vessel will be the BUFFALO.] several schooner of a smaller class will be finished in the course of next season.

      The schooner BUFFALO, of 161 tons burden, was recently launched at Huron, Ohio. She is owned by Messrs. Standart & Hamilton, and is considered one of the finest vessels on the western waters.
