A new propeller, hailing from the Dominion, called the CALIFORNIA, arrived at this port yesterday morning. She was built to pass through the canal, and will carry about 18,000 bu. of grain. She plies in connection with the lake and river south shore line of steamers, and is now on her first voyage westward.
