SHIPBUILDING. - The Commercial of last evening states that it has been furnished with the following memoranda of vessels and their dimensions, now building and being finished by the Messrs. Jones' at their ship yard in this city, by their obliging book-keeper, Mr. Wm. K. Cutler. -
For Niles and Wheeler, Propeller CATARACT, 160 ft. keel; 24 1/2 ft. beam; 11 1/2 ft. hold.
"The Propeller CATARACT, will be launched in a few days. She is receiving her machinery from the works of Messrs. Bell & Mc Lish, of this city. She will be commanded by Captain Palmer, and is intended to run between Toledo and Tonawanda. (part of article)
