The CHAUTAUQUA - This pretty little steamer is now permanently placed on her old route between this port, Silver Creek, Dunkirk, etc. During the winter she was rebuilt and enlarged several tons, and is now just having a pair of false sides (hips, some seamen say) put on in order the better to withstand the surges of a lee shore and give her steadiness when under a press of steam. Her enlargement also gives additional cabin and stowage facilities, and in Capt. Miller, our Chautauqua County friends and the public may rely on an experienced and obliging officer.
