On the 17th inst. the Messrs. Bailey of Fairport, Ohio, launched a large new bark from their shipyard which has been christened the CITY OF PAINESVILLE. Her dimensions are: Length of keel 177 ft.; beam, 34 1/4 ft.; depth 13 1/2 ft. Her carrying capacity is 1,150 tons, or about 40,000 bushels of grain. Her owners are the Messrs. Bailey, who built her, Capt. Dixon and F.H. Williams.
