The Maritime History of the Great Lakes
Henry Clay (Steamboat), 17 Jun 1826

Description
Full Text

The Black Rock Gazette intimates that justice is not done to the HENRY CLAY, in the public papers, as respects her accommodations &c. She is an excellent boat, as we have observed before; and 2/3 of this boat is owned by citizens of the western country, which is substantial reason why she should receive a portion of public patronage.
