The splendid stm. CLEMATIS, formerly the MARIA LOVE, has for the past few days been undergoing a thorough overhauling, both in hull and machinery, in order to place her in first class condition for fall service. The CLEMATIS is one of the largest and most powerful steam tugs on the rivers, and for sea going qualities she probably unsurpassed. Our lake skippers will be pleased also to learn that Capt. Sol. Rumage assumes command of the above tug, who from long experience both in steamers and in sailing vessels, cannot fail to give ample satisfation to all concerend.
