The Northern Transportation Co.'s prop. CLEVELAND, which was recently launched, is being rapidly completed. She will be ready for service in about 2 weeks. The following are her dimensions: Length 136 ft.; breadth of beam, 25'9 1/2"; depth of hold 11'5 1/2". She will be about 375 tons berthen. She will be officered as follows: Capt. A. Reed; mate, Mr. Lewis; engineer, Mr. Sturtevant. Capt. Reed has long been familiar with the lakes. He sailed the ONTARIO last season for the Northern Transportation Co. Messrs. Quayle & Martin have built 3 propellers for the above company, the BUCKEYE, AKRON and CLEVELAND. ---- Cleveland Plain Dealer.
