Full Text

The wrecked prop. COLORADO went into drydock yesterday and will receive the necessary repairs to make her sound and seaworthy. She will have 2 engines and 2 boilers. The high pressure cylinders will be 20 inches, and the low pressure 36 inches. The port engine was very little damaged by the explosion last October, and the bottom of the other suffered scarcely any damage. The engines will be overhauled and renewed by Donaldson & Whitman. The COLORADO will be fitted for towing purposes. The cost of repairs will be $30,000.
