Port Huron.-- Captain Curtis is making a steamer of his scow S.E.CURTIS. He is putting in an engine, 12 x 12, and a new boiler to furnish all the steam he will want. She will go in the sand trade. She will have a sand pump or sand elevator

Capt. Curtis' scow S.E.CURTIS will soon be a full fledged steam-barge. A new wheel has been supplied and a boiler and engine are now being put in the boat.
