The Maritime History of the Great Lakes
Cygnet (Steamboat), 3 Aug 1857

Description
Full Text

The stm. CYGNET will leave Black Rock every morning at 9:30 and the Lower Rock at 10:00 A.M. and will take fishing or pleasure parties down the river, landing them at Allen's Farm, Beaver Creek or White Haven, returning at 5:00 P.M., fare 25 cents each way. Here is a chance for a day of fishing or of ruralizing in the most pleasant manner, unannoyed by the trouble of hunting up a boat, hiring a man to row, or pulling against the current. The enterprise deserves to be largely patronized, and we have no doubt that it will be.
