Dakotah (Scow schooner), U6145, 23 May 1867

Description
Full Text

We noticed yesterday passing this point the scow schooner, which was built and recently launched at Cleveland for Harman & Crout. SHe is called the DAKOTAH, and will carry 500 tons of iron ore. Her draft pf water is but 3 ft., and consequently she is well adapted for the lumber trade. She is well a well constructed craft, and presents a fine appearance. Capt. Crout commands her.
