MARINE NEWS. - LAUNCH. - A neat, substantial built schooner, named the WILLIAM WALLACE, owned by Mr. Andrew Johnson, Merchant and Forwarder of this place, and built by Mr. Ford, was launched at Goderich yesterday. The WILLIAM WALLACE is of 50 tons and is to be finished and rigged in a very superior style and will be a very valuable addition to our coasting craft. We notice also that another large vessel of about 90 feet keel and of very pretty model, is on the stocks in a forward state. She is owned, we understand, by Messrs. Marlton & Dancy. - Goderich Signal
