The side wheel steam tug DESPATCH, which has been in the hands of the authorities at Chatham since last fall, was sold on Tuesday last at that place for $2,500, at Sheriff's sale, on an execution in favor of Captain Wylde, of Detroit. SHe was purchased by Mr. Jerome, of this city, and will be brought down to this place for the purpose of undergoing a thorough rebuild the coming winter. Her engine and machinery, which are of great power, will also be put in good running order, and in readiness to commence towing early in the spring.
