The stm. DOVE built during the past winter has made her first trip from Detroit to Toledo. Her dimensions are as follows: Length 198 ft.; beam 24 ft.; hold 8 ft. The DOVE with 2 other steamers owned by Capt. Sloan, Capt. Goldsmith and Capt. Montgomery, will form a line for the season between Detroit and Toledo, and some one of the number will extend the trips to Alpena.
