Another Steam boat in the Water.-- On Thursday last the splendid new Steamboat built at this place by Col. C. M. Reed, was placed upon her destined element, amid peals of cannon and the shouts of thousands of spectators congregrated [sic] to witness the display. This is one of the largest class of steam boats--well calculated for speed; and we understand is to be finished in a style unsurpassed by any other on this lake. She is to bear the honoured and honourable name of Thomas Jefferson.-- Erie Obs.
