Port Burwell, Sept. 28 - LAUNCH - A new schooner, built by L. McDermont for D. Freeman, was launched here today. She is the full size of the Welland Canal locks, her capacity being 24,000 bushels, and she is valued at $23,000.
      Capt. Cooper, who has an interest in the vessel is to be her captain, she was christened the LADY DUFFERN, and is pronounced to be one of the finest Canadian schooners afloat.
