The launch of the bark DUNDERBERG at Jones' shipyard yesterday afternoon was, we regret to say, a failure. She started down the ways beautifully, but some of the underpinning gave way and her bow sank through and stuck fast, leaving about half her length still on the ways. She is a well made craft of 800 tons burden, with a length of 178 ft., and 33 ft. 6 inches breadth of beam. She is intended for Chicago and Buffalo grain trade. We hope she may be got off without material damage.
