The prop. EDITH has not had steam up this spring. She is in bad state of repair, her bulwarks being badly stove up, rusty and gray from want of paint, and it will cost a round sum to put her in sailing condition. It has been said that her engine would be taken out of her and the boat cut down to a barge.

      New Propeller -- Candler Bros. are having a new propeller built at St. Clair which is already in frame, for the engines formerly in the propeller EDITH. She will be completed this fall, but possibly not in time for business the present season.
