The new stmr. LADY ELGIN, Built at Buffalo by Capt. Appleby, was advertised to leave Buffalo on Friday (7th.) evening for Chicago. Her upper cabin has not been put up. She has an engine of 350 horse power, and is said to be of a beautiful model, and well built.
