The new tug built by O'Grady & Maher, for Mr. James Ash, Capt. R.L and James Byers, Abner C. Adams, F.L. Danforth and Daniel Mahoney, will go into commission this afternoon. The new craft is 72 ft. long, 16 ft. beam and 9 ft. hold, and is 43 tons custom house measurement She has a 90 horsepower engine, built by Donaldson & Polly, and an extra strong steel boiler made by Riter. The tug is a handsome and staunch looking craft and is named after Mr. Edward Fiske, the very accommodating and genial deputy collector of the custom house. Capt. Robert L. Byers will be master of the FISKE, which will run in the Jand & Johnson's line.
