North Tonawanda, May 9 - The cruising yacht FLORENCE, built for Capt. Philip Perew of this city, was launched in the Tonawanda Creek this afternoon. The craft took the water nicely and the launching was carried out without a hitch, Capt. John Fisher of Cheboygan, Mich. christened the boat as she left the ways.
      The FLORENCE will be fitted out ans will leave here on Wednesday noon, May 15th, for New York, where she will be placed in commission and started out on a 14,000 mile advertising tour. Capt. Perew will command his own craft and will be accompanied by Mrs. Perew. Frank Senechal, Frank Lattin and George Twitchel, all of Tonawanda.
