BY VIRTUE of a certain vessel mortgage, executed by Joseph Kilpatrick, of the city of Buffalo, Erie county, and state of New York, to George W. Starr and James G. Payne, dated the twelfth day of October, in the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty-five, and recorded in the office of the Collector of Customs, for the District of Buffalo Creek, and Port of Buffalo, on the twenty fourth day of October, in the year last aforesaid, in liber four of Vessel Mortgages, at page one, and upon which default has been made, we shall sell the property herein mentioned and described, viz: The undivided three-fourth part of the good schooner FLYING DUTCHMAN, her masts, bowsprit, tackle, apparel and furniture, a public auction, on board the said schooner, now lying in Buffalo Creek, at the city of Buffalo, on the sixteenth day of February, 1856, at 10 o'clock A.M. of that day.
