At Wheeler and Crane's yard at West Bay City, a new steam barge is on the stocks for Mitchell and Boutell. She will be a handsome craft and will have the powerful machinery of the old ANTELOPE. She will be 185 feet keel, 210 feet overall, 32 feet beam and 14 feet depth. She will be completed about the middle of May.
