STORAGE, FORWARDING, & COMMISSION BUSINESS.--

The subscribers will have a Ware House and necessary appendages for landing and Storing Goods, at New Buffalo, (mouth of the Galien River, Berrien county, Michigan,) on the opening of navigation, and tender their services to the publick, promising the strictest attention to all business committed to their charge.

S.T. Armstrong, New York; R. Hunter, Albany; Barker and Holt, Buffalo, O. Newberry, Detroit; Newberry and Dole, Chicago. CASH FOR WHEAT.--We will pay Cash for any quantity of Wheat delivered at our Ware House, and will receive by the first vessel from Buffalo, a general assortment of GROCERIES, and articles in the Grocery line, which will be offered to the publick at reduced prices.

We will also keep a constant supply of SALT on hand.

NOTICE is hereby given, that there will be an election for thirteen Directors for the ensuing year, of the Buffalo Fire and Marine Ensurance Company, at the office of said Company, on Wednesday the eighth day of April next, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon. By order of the board,
