LAUNCH. --- The steam boat GEN. GRATIOT, intended to ply the rivers Detroit and St. Clair was launched at Black River on Saturday last, under a National Salute. She is said to be a beautiful model and though small, intended for speed. her engine was manufactured in this village the past winter.
