JOSIAH COOK BUYS A SCHOONER.
Special Deputy United States Marshal Waite today sold on an order of the United States court the Canadian schooner MARY GROVER on a claim of seamen's wages. She was purchased by Counsellor Jogiah Cook for $510. What the Counsellor wants with a British -bottomed vessel is one of the things no fellow can find out, but there must be money in it.
