Capt. John Weston's new steamer, the HIAWATHA, received her finishing touched at the Detroit Drydock Co.'s work yesterday, and in the afternoon was out on a trial trip with an invited few on board. She was run on a moderate head of steam, and of course nothing definite could be arrived at as to her fleetness, yet all were satisfied that in this respect she would meet the expectations of her woners. Her equipments are of the most complete order and her accommodations throughout need be no better. Her dimensions have been given heretofore as well as the route she is to be employed upon.
