A finely built fore-and-aft schooner named the KATE E. HOWARD, made her first appearance in out harbor on Wednesday afternoon. She is owned by Messrs. Warren & Howard, of Holland, at which place she was built by Mr. Andrew Anderson, at a cost of $11,000. Her dimensions are 90 ft. keel, 97 ft. on deck; 6 ft. 8 inches in depth, 21 ft. in breadth, and measures 89 37/100 tons. - Chicago Tribune
