Idlehour (Propeller), 6 Sep 1898

Description
Full Text

The case against Frank Plamer, mate of the IDLEHOUR was settled yesterday. Palmer paid the costs of the case which amounted to 90 cents. He had just been afflicted by the death of a child and his wife is ill with pneumonia. These things being taken into consideration, it was thought proper not to press the charges against Palmer. Vesselmen approve of Palmer being let off without a heavy fine or other punishment.
