NEW BRIG. - We have just returned from an examination of the new brig ISABELLA belonging to M.B. Scott of this place and built by Messrs. Calkins & Co., during the past winter at an expense of $9,000. She is 250 tons burthen, custom-house measurement, but will carry about 350 tons. Her dimensions are as follows:- Length of keel 110 feet; breadth of beam 24 feet; depth of hold 9 feet 7 inches She is beautifully modeled and a staunch well built craft. The ISABELLA leaves for Chicago and different ports on the upper lakes heavily loaded with merchandise, this afternoon. ------ Cleveland herald
