We notice another new schooner in the river, which is owned by K.K. Jones, formerly of this city, but now of Manitowoc. The schooner, which has been called the WM. JONES, in honor of one of our oldest citizens, and father of the owner, was built at Manitowoc by Messrs. Herbrand & Rand, of that place, at the cost of $9,000. Her dimensions are: length of keel 100 ft.; on deck, 109 ft.; beam 26 1/2 ft.; tonnage, 210. The sails and cordage are of Chicago manufacture, from the establishment of Messrs. G.F. Foster & Co., of this city.
The WM. JONES is built for the trade between this city and Manitowoc. She is fitted up with a handsome double cabin for lady as well as gentlemen passengers. - Chi. Dem., 30th.
