View of Buffalo.--Mr. H.J. Megarey, of New-York, but now in this city, proposes to publish a view of our city, to be drawn for the occasion, and handsomely engraved and coloured--deliverable to subscribers at $5 each. The style and manner of the plate may be learned from similar views of Boston, Baltimore, &c. which the same gentleman has executed, and which he has left at Mr. A.W. Wilgus' Book Store, No. 203 Main Street, for inspection. A subscription list is also left there, for the names of such as wish to encourage the undertaking. We have examined the specimens, and think them highly elegant; and we cannot doubt that the list of subscribers will rapidly fill, so as to ensure the publication of the proposed, and certainly desirable view.
