LAUNCH.- On Saturday last, those enterprising Ship Builders, Messrs. Carrick & Bidwell, treated our citizens to another fine launch from their Ship-yard, on Ohio Street. The elegant schooner, LA PORTE, of about one hundred and fifty tons burden, entered the water at 4 o'clock, P. M., amid the shouts of a large concourse of citizens, among whom were many ladies. She is owned by Mr. A. Eaton of this city, and others; and will be fitted for service with all despatch. - Buffalo Whig, Apr. 22
