NEW SCOW:- A new scow named H.A. LAMAR, arrived at Cleveland on Sunday from Fairport, where she was built by Samuel McLean for Captain Lamar. She is of the following dimensions: Length, 96 feet; beam, 21 feet 9 inches; hold, 5 feet 4 inches; measurement, about 100 tons. She cost $10,000 and is pronounced one of the best vessels of her class that has ever arrived at Cleveland.
