The Connercial is informed that a contract has been entered by Messrs. Bidwell & Banta, enterprising ship builders at this point, to build for Mr. Lewis W. Bancroft, a steamer 142 feet in length, 29 feet breadth of beam and ten feet depth of hold.
      She is to be called "JENNY LIND" and will be commanded by Mr. Bancroft, a well known practical seaman, who has been upon the lakes for many years.
