Holt, Palmer & Co., of Buffalo, will have on the upper lake route, in a few days, a new steamer called the MINNESOTA. Her dimensions are: Length of keel 230, breadth of beam 31 ft., depth of hold 12 1/2 ft.; and she is rated at 800 tons. She will be commanded by Capt. James Brent.
