Coloured postcard of the Lake Ontario & Bay of Quinte Navigation Company steamboat NORTH KING in Charlotte, New York about 1907. The bow is painted with "Bay of Quinte Line"
Notes:
Formerly as the NORSEMAN for the Gildersleeve interests, she ran from Charlotte (the port of Rochester, NY) to various ports on the north shore of Lake Ontario including Cobourg, Port Hope and Toronto. Transferred to Canada Steamship Lines in 1913 with the sale of the company. Divided back. Postally unused.
