Capt. Dimmick, of this city, commander of the schooner MONTEATH, died suddenly on board his vessel, at Detroit, on Tuesday afternoon. Capt. Dimmick had sailed the MONTEATH for several years and had many friends in all our lake ports. His remains are to be brought to this city.
