VESSEL SALES. - We learn that S. Gardner, Esq., of this city, has purchased the propeller MONTGOMERY, of E.B. Ward, for the sum of $45,000. The MONTGOMERY registers 925 tons Custom House measurement, and is only two years old. She was built in the St. Clair River, for E.B. Ward, in the season of 1856.
Mr. Gardner has also purchased, of the same party, the steamboat ARK, for the sum of $17,000.
Mr. Gardner is, we believe, our largest dealer in steamboat and vessel stocks. - Detroit Advertiser
