A new brig of 250 tons burthen to be called the JAMES McBRIDE, now building at Cattaraugus Creek for Capt. J. Whittet and A.G. Morgan is to be launched on Saturday next. She will be under the command of Capt. Whittet.

      NEW BRIG. - A new and beautiful brig, of 250 tons, now building at Cattaraugus Creek, for Capt. J. Whittet, and A.G. Morgan, of this city is to be launched on Saturday next. It is called the JAMES McBRIDE. Mr. James McBride, of New York City, in honor of whom the Brig has been named, has sent her a beautiful and complete set of colors, Capt. Whittet who was formerly of the schooner NORTH AMERICAN, is to sail her.
