An effort was made to take the electric plant from Sheenwater Friday night about 11:00, by a gang of chaps who were pretty boozed up. The lower ferry tug was chartered and run through the ice around to Sheenwater, but being caught in the act they were persuaded to leave it alone. They claim to have had an order for it, and were going to take it to Edgewater dock to be placed aboard the NELLIE for lighting. Charles Howard claims they had no business whatever with the plant.
